Nabeel Shaukat Ali from Team Pakistan has won the trophy of Surkshetra, the singing competition between Pakistan & India.

The Grand Finale of Surkshetra was held in the World Trade Centre in Dubai on Thursday December 20, 2012.
The Jury Panel of Grand Finale episodes was comprised of following legends - Abida Parveen, Ghulam Ali, Asha Bhosle, Runa Laila, Ismail Darbar, Sajjad Ali, and Suresh Wadkar.
First both teams’ captains, Atif Aslam & Himesh Reshamaya came to the stage and performed their songs, respectively. The audience was thrilled with their performances. After that the real contestants from both teams, Pakistan & India, took the stage and the serious business begun.
There were two rounds in the first part of finale. The first round took place between Diljaan & Yashraj of Team India. Diljaan won this round and made to the Final round of the finale.The second round took place between Nabeel Shaukat Ali & Mulazim Hussain of Team Pakistan. Nabeel Shaukat Ali won this round and became the final contestant against Diljaan.
In the final round of Sur Kshetra, various songs of different genres were given to the both final contestants, Nabeel Shaukat Ali & Diljaan. Diljaan could not perform all the songs with much versatility, on the other hand, Nabeel Shaukat Ali sung all the given songs excellently with versatility and so he became the winner of Sur Kshetra.
Nabeel was awarded a cash of 200,000/- Rs, Suzuki Motorbike, Touchmate Tablet, Gold Button Jacket, and the beautiful Sur Kshetra Trophy!
We as Pakistanis are Proud of Nabeel Shaukat Ali who by his struggle & dedication in singing has brought the trophy of Sur Kshetra (also known as Sur ki Bazi) to Pakistan. We wish Nabeel Shaukat Ali a very successful life & career in future.
